Star Wars Halloween Costumes have been a popular item here for years. Why, we were doing Halloween Costumes before there was an Internet!

Halloween has gotten to be as big, if not bigger than Christmas these days, (In terms of money spent for costumes, parties, etc...not the religious aspect) but would you believe that the Halloween Costume craze really took off in the early part of the last century?

Halloween Victorians who lived long ago in a galaxy far far away were all about making sure that they and their children had the latest fashions. This was all well and good, but what do you think would happen if a Star Wars Halloween Wookie knocked on the door? I believe the Halloween Star Wars Trick or Treater would either get all the candy, or would have been shot and stuffed.

Of course, they had to make their Star Wars costumes themselves or have them made by clever Sand People. Nowadays, most people have so many delightful Halloween Costumes to choose from that they no longer have to bend over a sewing machine all day. Not even your robot has to bend over your sewing machine all day. Halloween means progress for the whole galaxy!

As you might expect, for the Star Wars purist, the higher end Star Wars costumes, especially the adult star wars costumes will set you back quite a few credits. The official Star Wars costume, though, is not only a thing of beauty, it's darn near the real thing. When you sit down in your chair and that Darth Vader costume descends down from the ceiling to flop over your quivering body, you instantly become Darth Vader! Why, you could just think Halloween candy, and it would literally float into your collection basket!

The prices for Halloween Star Wars costumes range from $900 (Boba Fet Costume, can you believe it??) down to $1.99. For the most part, though, most of the 210 Star Wars Halloween Costumes and Star Wars Halloween Accessories offerings are under $100. But you can't beat the official Star Wars Clone Trooper Halloween outfit. Were it made of Kevlar instead of plastic, it might be classified as a military secret. Lucky you!

Star Wars costumes have had years to develop into what they are today. Just about everything is represented. You even have an Anakin Skywalker costume, if you want it. Then there is your Obi Wan Kenobi costume, Clone Wars costumes, Clone Trooper Costume, Trooper costumes, and the like.

As for Star Wars accessories, you can put a flashlight on a broomstick and make a light sabre, if you want to get hooted out of the Empire Strikes Back party, but to dominate, you MUST run take a look at the high tech Star Wars Light Sabre you can purchase.

Ladies, if you have the figure for it, you have found the place that offers the Princess Leia as a slave girl Halloween costume. I don't find it as daring as the original Princess Leia as girlfriend of Jabba the Hut costume (Actually 6 tissue papers strung together) but it's daring enough.

I say without fear of losing sales that if you don't have the figure for the official Slave Girl Leia Halloween Costume and order it anyway, you will surely be remembered long after Halloween is but a Halloween Candy hangover.

However, if you have the fit for it, you want to be remembered as you go door to door in search of Halloween candy, this is your best best. No kidding. You will walk away with ALL the candy, leaving your victims screaming to let them go to the store for more.

Or you could go as a proper Victorian Baghdad Beauty lady with a Wookie on her shoulder. Add a light sabre and the Halloween Costume is complete! Search your feelings Luke or Leia. You know I'm right! Who's yo' daddy?
